**Mylee Billingham** was named by **West Midlands Police** on Sunday after she was stabbed to death on **Saturday night** in **Brownhills, Walsall.**

**8 year old** Mylee was taken to hospital where she later died after being found critically wounded in **Valley Views**. Emergency services arrived at the street at **9:15pm** on Saturday.

**Bill Billingham, 54, Mylee's father**, was found with stab injuries at the bungalow and is currently in hospital.

**Det Insp Jim Colclough** said this was a "domestic incident" ad that no-one else was being sought in connection with the death.

Neighbour **Graham Greatrex,** 74, helped the mother after she said a man had "stabbed my little girl". "It was a bit of a shock. You can't imagine it happening on our doorstep, especially when it's a little girl." he added.

On Sunday, the bungalow was searched by forensic experts and the investigation is still ongoing.
