The club are believed to have met a release clause of around £1million in the Egyptian international’s contract with the Tigers.

[Reports in Hull](“http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ahmed-elmohamady-becomes-third-player-208629”) say Elmohamady left the club’s training camp in Portugal to complete formalities on the move.

The 29-year-old has made 218 appearances for the Tigers - and would face his former team-mates on the opening day of the Championship season if he completes the switch to B6.
