The Egyptian international will link up with Steve Bruce’s side in Germany as they continue their pre-season preparations.

Elmohamady has reunited with his former Hull boss on a three-year contract.

He told the Aston Villa website: “Aston Villa is a great club and I am thrilled to join – it’s one of the very biggest clubs in England and its history and tradition is there for all to see.”
