A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed in Kingstanding.

The 23-year-old victim died after a fight in Twickenham Road on Saturday (July 8th).

The Kingstanding teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Birmingham Youth court this morning.

Detective Inspector Jim Munro said: “Our investigations continue and I’d urge anyone who witnessed the stabbing, or has information they think could help the enquiry, to get in touch if they have not yet spoken to the police."

Two men, aged 20 and 24, who were also arrested in connection with the enquiry have been bailed pending further enquiries.
