[**Birmingham Eastside**](https://www.birminghameastside.co.uk/universal-credit-factor-in-poverty-report-poverty-group-says/)is launching a new [**Faith** ](http://birminghameastside.com/tagged/faith?ref=birminghameastside.co.uk)section*.*

Watch Catalina, the Faith Editor, talk about why covering religion is important:

With over **1.1 million population**, Birmingham is as diverse in **faith** as it is in ethnicity.

With a 300 years old cathedral, several mosques, a Buddhist centre and Sikh temples, Birmingham presents everybody with the opportunity of practising or learning about different faiths.

Its churches and mosques present themselves as promoting culture and community cohesion.
